What is operated here — and what is not

FiNTA is a published, open-source algorithm and the work of its authors. It is licensed under the GNU GPL v3.0, its source is on GitHub, and the method is described in The FASEB Journal.

Bitblade Solutions UG operates only the web interface around it — it is neither the author of the algorithm nor the publisher of the paper, and it does not speak for the research group. Anyone citing the algorithm cites the paper, not this site.

Image credits

The microscopy images, and the runs computed from them, are research data of the FiNTA team and were not produced by Bitblade Group. The footage of trees, grids and fireworks are photographs, not measurement series; they stand on the site as what they are — a demonstration that the method is not confined to microscopy.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act). We no longer point to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: it was shut down on 20 July 2025.

Liability for content and links

We are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws (§ 7 (1) DDG). Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor third-party information or to investigate circumstances that point to unlawful activity.

This site links to external pages over whose content we have no influence. At the time of linking, no legal violations were apparent there. If any become known to us, we remove the link.

The content we create on these pages is subject to German copyright law. The algorithm itself and its source code remain unaffected by this: they are licensed under the GNU GPL v3.0 and may be passed on and modified under its terms.
